Four Points by Sheraton Bangkok, Sukhumvit 15
Located just a short walk from BTS Asok or BTS Nana, you will find Four Points by Sheraton, Sukhumvit 15, which is in the perfect location for anyone who has business in the area or is looking to be ideally placed to explore the multiple restaurants, bars, and shopping opportunities in the Sukhumvit area. Expect a warm welcome from the friendly staff team, enjoy modern and well-appointed rooms (our junior suite was very impressive), a refreshing rooftop pool (perfect for escaping after a busy day in the city), and on-site dining options, including The Eatery, which is exactly why we’re here. Did somebody say the biggest and best vegan and vegetarian brunch buffet in the region?!

The Vegan Food
It’s only right that we start with the vegan and vegetarian brunch buffet at Four Points by Sheraton—after all, that’s the prime reason we were in Bangkok. When they launched this innovative and exciting new offering in January 2025, we immediately consulted our diaries to see when we could check it out. Held on the second and fourth Saturday of each month, it’s a very good reason to coincide your next Bangkok trip with this bi-monthly plant-based extravaganza. When we say plant-based extravaganza, we really mean plant-based extravaganza – there are nearly 100 dishes available, with 75% of them being vegan. Between midday and 2:30 pm, our self-imposed challenge was to try as many of them as possible!
The atmosphere was buzzing, full of clinking plates and happy chatter as a hugely diverse range of guests gathered to eat. Tables were filled with people of different ages and cultures, all sharing the same sense of amazement and delight. The energy in the room surged every time someone ordered the CFC (Cruelty-Free Chicken), one of the à la carte options crafted from lion’s mane mushrooms in a crunchy spiced coating. Whenever this delicious dish was delivered, the staff team would cheer, “CFC!” and clap – it was an outward expression of the collective joy in the dining room. In addition to the addictive lion’s mane creation, we worked our way through multiple nutritious salads and dips, devoured slices of pesto flatbread pizza, and enjoyed curries, shepherd’s pie, lasagna, sushi, burritos, and much, much more. As professional (and greedy) vegan foodies, we feel that we did pretty well in our mission to try as much as we could – while, of course, leaving room for vegan desserts and vegan cheese to finish our memorable lunch.

The savoury options were indeed plentiful, but so were the desserts, smoothie bowls, and vegan cheeses (did somebody say vegan cheeses?), making for the perfect end to our feast. Huge respect goes out to the team at Four Points by Sheraton, led by Executive Chef Par with the support of highly regarded vegan chef and food consultant Chef Pae from Vegan Cuisine Thailand. Together, they have created an incredible selection of vegan and vegetarian dishes. The food labelling was very clear, leaving us with zero concerns about whether the dishes were vegan or vegetarian, which was great to see. Our overall experience was truly memorable – it felt like we had stumbled upon a vegan nirvana in Bangkok. Arrive hungry, arrive with a strategy, and stay to enjoy every minute of this wonderful ride.

After the dreamlike experience at the brunch buffet, breakfast was a little more challenging and required some assistance from the excellent staff team to ensure we had plenty to eat. The good news is that not only is there a solid understanding of what vegan actually means at this hotel, but the kitchen is also well-stocked with ingredients that can be used to prepare vegan breakfast options. For now, you just need to ask for some help, but coming soon, vegan options will be available every day at breakfast and on other menus at Four Points by Sheraton, Sukhumvit 15.
One of these options will hopefully be the delicious breakfast burrito with tofu scramble that Chef Par prepared for us – full of flavour, fresh, and nutritious, we most certainly vote for this to be included! We enjoyed congee topped with condiments, vadai with sambar and chutney, a DIY salad bowl with kale, sprouts, lentils, and beans topped with vegan Caesar dressing, grilled tomatoes on sourdough drizzled with balsamic glaze, and a bowl of vegan coconut yogurt with berries, almonds, maple syrup, and pa tong go or youtiao (accidentally vegan Chinese breakfast donuts). We most certainly didn’t go hungry and even managed to squeeze in a bowl of caramel vegan ice cream – just because we could.

The Vegan Essentials
We were too busy eating (literally!) to spend any time in either the pool or the gym, but they both looked very nice. The pool, located on the 8th floor, looked particularly inviting when we popped up to check it out – maybe we’ll manage a swim next time! As with Marriott brand standards, the bathroom amenities were all in refillable dispensers, and the water in our room was offered in recyclable glass bottles. It’s great to see the wider industry slowly moving in the right direction by lessening their environmental impact and embracing sustainability.

The Vegan Food Quest Verdict
If you’re vegan, vegan-curious, or just love healthy and nutritious food, then you should most certainly check in here and enjoy their simply outstanding vegan and vegetarian brunch buffet. Equally, if you’re living in Bangkok or staying elsewhere, make sure to experience what is one of the most outstanding selections of plant-based foods we’ve ever seen. We will be back for sure and are already looking at our travel calendar for the rest of the year to make it happen. Wow.

We were guests of Four Points by Sheraton Bangkok but please rest assured that their generosity in hosting us didn’t influence our views.
