The food at Rasayana Retreat is quite simply mind blowingly good and one of the reasons that I’m seriously considering converting to a Raw food diet when we stop travelling.
Everything is just so alive, not to mention tasty and the food looks so beautiful when it arrives that it almost feels sinful to eat it.
Rasayana Retreat offers a whole host of holistic treatments, massages and yoga but Vegan Food Quest were there to sample the food only so we cannot comment on the other services.
You can find Rasayana by using the BTS Sukhumvit Line and getting off at Phrong Pong station, then walk up Sukhumvit Soi 39 for about 10 minutes and turn right into 57 Soi Prommitr – the picture in the sign below is on your left pointing up the small road that Rasayana is on.
Rasayana Raw Cafe has a peaceful and ambient setting with seating both inside and outside within a courtyard garden.
The Vegan Food
This place was all about the food, it was exciting, nutritious and delicious and to top it off it was all raw vegan!
The pictures below hopefully do justice to what was a fantastic dining experiences – in fact it goes straight into the top 5 favourite eating places of all time on account of the quality, taste, inspiration and healthiness.
The service was relaxed and laid back, our food was delivered with a smile and we loved the complimentary herbal tea that we were offered after our meal.
There are lots of tasty snacks that you can buy and take home and if you really can’t make it across town give them a call and they will arrange delivery.
All in all it was fantastic and we can’t wait to return when we are back in Bangkok – thank you!
